The event, known for its picturesque course and enthusiastic public support, demonstrated the incredible endurance and determination of the participants.
It was my first time photographing a marathon and athletes of the highest level.

After the experience it was clear that it will not be the last time that I will go out looking for the best angles of male and female runners.

As a photographer I must say that it was one of the most exciting and electrifying "first times". Accompanying the elite of the world street race as well as seeing the energy that the sport is capable of providing. It was as always incredible to observe the magnitude of an event of this size and to see how sport is good for a city.

To capture runners who most of the time are running very fast, the bike is the best alternative to try to follow a race, especially in a city that encourages and makes life much easier for cyclists.
Apart from the Sony A7IV, the lens chosen was an 85mm f1.8, the idea was to have great sharpness in images, fast focus, good depth of field and the possibility of getting good close-ups.

I don't know about you all, but I was very satisfied with the results.
